Julia Mccurdy Maddox

Mrs. Julia Bennett Maddox, 94, of Tucker, died Thursday, April 24, 2008. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta.  Mrs. Maddox was preceded in death by her husband, James David Bennett, son, Billy David Bennett, daughter, Patricia Ann Bennett, and grandchildren, Charles Bennett, Jr. and Patty Kennedy.  She is survived by her daughters, Betty Turner of Tucker, GA, Shirley Guthrie and her husband Wayne of Nathalie, VA; sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Betty Bennett of Covington, GA, Charles and Joann Bennett of Fountain, CO; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, April 28th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Alton Miller officiating.  Interment will follow at Chestnut Grove Baptist Churchyard, Grayson, GA.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
