Katherine Cook Davenport

Mrs. Katherine Cook Davenport, formerly of Tucker and Decatur died Wednesday, September 8, 2004.  She was a member of Decatur First United Methodist Church for almost 60 years, a member of the Paty class and a member of Metro Atlanta Family Campers. Mrs. Davenport is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Steve Brannon of Monroe, GA; granddaughters, Melissa Stamps of Conyers, GA, Elizabeth Weaver of Lawrenceville, GA, Amanda Heinz-Stevenson of Asheville, N.C., Cindy Brannon of Atlanta, GA; great grandchildren, Samantha Stamps, Jessie Rei Stevenson; nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11th at Decatur First United Methodist Church.  Dr. Bob Browning and Rev. W.W. Satterwhite will officiate.  Interment Decatur Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Plymouth Harbor Day Program, 2676 Clairmont Rd., N.E. Atlanta, GA  30329.  The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
