Kontz Lee Mitchell

Kontz Mitchell, 89, of Decatur, GA passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2013. Born in Rockdale County, GA, he was the son of the late Jesse Mitchell and Annie Costley Mitchell and was married to the late Josephine Mitchell. A WWII veteran, he was a retired executive at Oxford Industries in Atlanta. He is survived by his son, Franklin Lee Mitchell and daughter-in- law, Patricia Barrett Mitchell of Gaffney, SC, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, November 8 from 2 - 3 pm followed by the funeral at 3 pm with burial in the Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
