LESTER R. KELLY

Lester R. Kelly, age 78, of Tucker, went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 17, 2012.

He was born on November 2, 1933 in Atlanta, GA to John Milford and Katie (Hickey) Kelly. He was a 1955 graduate of the University of Georgia and received his degree in Business Administration. Mr. Kelly was an Army veteran and proudly served his country.


He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Darlena, also surviving are his two sons; Mike and (Tammie) Kelly, Cumming, GA, Bill and (Shauna) Kelly, Cartersville, GA; and 5 grandchildren, Courtney, Brady, Trista, Hunter, Grant and several nieces and nephews.

Those desiring memorials may contribute to the Alzheimer's Foundation. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, July 20, in the Chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons . The family will receive friends Friday morning from 1:00 am until 3:00 pm. at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
