Lois Blair Garner

Lois Blair Garner, 87, of Atlanta, died April 26, 2013. Lois was born to James Ernest and Naomi Free Blair, Jul 31, 1925, in Mt. Airey in Habersham County, Georgia. Living most of her adult life in the Atlanta area, Mrs. Garner was a homemaker and long time member of Briarlake Baptist Church and its Winsome Sunday school class. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Garner, and son, Dale Garner, and is survived by her daughter-in-law, Janice S. Garner of Acworth; granddaughter Erin Garner of Acworth; grandson, Jonathan Garner of Acworth; great granddaughter, Sarah Garner; sisters, Mozelle Blair of Atlanta and Paralee Blair Jones of Lawrenceville; several nieces and nephews. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Lois will be missed by all who knew her. The funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Monday, April 29, in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons. Rev. Larry Sullivan of Briarlake Baptist Church will officiate and burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 4-6 Sunday evening at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory
