Mrs. Lois S. Bowen of Decatur passed away at her residence in Baton Rouge, LA, on Saturday, April 12, 2014. She was born October 3, 1920, and graduated from Lithonia High School. Lois was a devoted Mother, and retired from her job at Ton-Tex Corp. at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert W. and Ellie V. Sills; husband, William I. Bowen; son, Ronald Stanley Bowen; daughter, Pamela Irene Bowen; sister, Connie Sills Braswell; brothers, Elbert, Bill, Marvin, and Junior Sills. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Anne H. Wong (husband Sit L. Wong); and son, Larry Eugene Bowen. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 19 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Decatur.
