Margaret West Combs

Margaret West Combs, 91, of Atlanta, GA, passed away at home February 21, 2009 of pancreatic cancer. She was the wife of the late Wesley Combs, Jr. of Atlanta, GA.  She is survived by her son, Marshall Combs of Atlanta, her daughter Martha Cross of Augusta, and daughter-in-law Teresa Phillips of Marietta; grandchildren are Pat Combs, Greer Dierkes, Robert Cross, Maggie Robert, Lauren Averitt, and Matt Combs, and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Martha Looney and Ethel McClintic.  She passed away at home peacefully in her sleep.  She was a long time member of Peachtree Baptist Church.  Services will be held Monday, February 23, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home in Decatur, GA.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 22 from 3-5PM and 7-9 PM at A. S.
