Marguerite Greer

Mrs. Marguerite Pearson Greer, a long-time resident of Decatur, Georgia passed away on Monday, April 24th, 2017 at Halcyon Hospice of Atlanta. She was surrounded by loved ones and passed peacefully after a brief illness. She was born July 28, 1928, near Chicago, Illinois and was a graduate of Oglethorpe University.

Along with her parents, Carl Victor and Elsa Anderson Pearson, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Greer.

She is survived by her son and daughter: Michael Greer and Vicki Smith, both of Decatur, Georgia; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was a terrific lady and will be missed tremendously.

Her family will gather for a memorial service on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at A.S. Turner Funeral Home.
