Maria L. Chek

Maria L. (Sadoniskaya) Chek, 93, passed peacefully on December 28, 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia. Maria was born June 7, 1927 in Kursk, Russia. Maria married Jim Chek, born in Athens, Greece, on August 26, 1952. They were married for 66 years when he passed in 2018. Maria is survived by her son, Steve. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 11:00 am at Joy of All Who Sorrow Russian Orthodox Church. Burial will follow immediately at North Atlanta Memorial Park in Dunwoody.
