Maria Lunk of Decatur died Sunday, January 23, 2011. She was a professor of Russian Studies at Emory University. She is survived by her daughter, Kristina Lunk and cousins, Vladimir Lutchenkov and Dimitri Lutchenkov. A funeral service was held at 10:45 AM, Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at St. Mary of Egypt Russian Orthodox Church with Father Alexander Lisinichuk and Father John Townsend officiating.
