Marilyn Elizabeth White

Marilyn Mehaffey White, 57, of Tucker passed away peacefully on Sunday September 15, 2013. She was born on April 8, 1956 in Atlanta, GA to George Young and Barbara Allred Mehaffey and they preceded her in death. She was a 1974 graduate of Columbia High School, Decatur, GA where she was in the marching band. She enjoyed watching her nephew play baseball and had a love for most sports. One of her favorite pastimes was listening to local bands play. Marilyn married Ecee Dennis White in Decatur and he survives. Also surviving is her brother and sister in law; Jeff and Cyndi Mehaffey; nephew, Matthew Mehaffey. Services will be held 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September18, 2013 in the Chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home. Officiating is Dr. Frank Crumpler, with interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
