Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Mitchell passed away at home Saturday, March 7, 2009 with her daughter, grandchildren and a dear niece at her bedside. She was born May 13, 1927; she was a homemaker and raised her 3 children, Gail, Neil and Teresa in a loving home. Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Neil E. (Rack) Mitchell, daughter, Gail and Son, Neil. She is survived by her loving sister, Patricia Dixon; daughter, Teresa Snyder; grandchildren, Ronda Cox, Chuck Thomas , Sarah Marchese and Matthew Snyder; great grandsons Joshua Cox, Mitchell Marchese, and Thomas James (TJ) Marchese; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 10th at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Monday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
