Martha Anne Richards

Martha Marty Jenner Richards of Decatur, GA, died Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at the age of 102. Marty grew up in Indianola, Iowa. She attended the University of Iowa where she received her B.A. Degree. Marty moved to the Atlanta area with her husband, Guy H. Richards, in 1945. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Guy H. Richards. She is survived by her son, Guy H. Richards Jr. of Stone Mountain, GA, and her daughter Jean Jinky (Jay) Anderson of Coral Springs, Florida. She is also survived by her three granddaughters, Heather (Paul) Cornett, Kristen (John) Spera, Jill (Derek) Valone and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held on Friday July 11, 2014 at 11:00 am in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons with Rev. Larry Burgess officiating, burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs. The family will receive friends Thursday July 10, 2014 from 5pm until 7pm at A.S Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
