Martha Mitchell Looney

Mrs. Martha Mitchell Looney retired from Southern Bell after 39 years of service. Mrs. Looney was a member of the Lady’s Shrine Organization and a member of The Pioneers of Southern Bell. She was a loving and devoted spouse.  Mrs. Looney is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert M. Looney; sisters, Frances M. Walls of Norcross, GA, Louette McGinnis of Summerville, SC; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, July 24^th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Interment will follow at Gresham-Weed Cemetery, Atlanta. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
