Martha Ruhama Poe

Martha Poe of Decatur, Georgia, born October 23, 1923, died November 7, 2010. She was retired from the University Systems Board of Regents and the Southern Education Foundation. She was preceded in death by husband, Ansel J. Poe, and is survived by daughters, Nancy Poe and Pam Poe and her husband, Alan Russell; son, David Poe and his wife, Karen Poe; grandsons, David Andrew Poe and Eric Bullington and his wife Lori Bullington; and great-grandson, Spencer Bullington. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 11th at 1:00 PM at Decatur Heights Baptist Church, 735 Sycamore Drive, Decatur, with Dr. Alan D. Smith officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 10th, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at A. S. Turner and Sons.
