Mary Alyce Barker

Mary Alyce Gay Barker, 78, of Decatur, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018. Born March 20, 1940, she was the daughter of the late William and Addie Lorene Weldon Gay.

She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Mathews and her husband, Earl; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many more loving family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Emory J. Barker.

The family will receive friends at 9:00 a.m. until funeral service time at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018, at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, Decatur, Georgia, with Reverends Earl Mathews and Mike Weiss officiating. She will be laid to rest at Haw Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Cumming, Georgia.
