Mary B. Felker

Mrs. Mary B. Felker, 86, of Atlanta, GA died Monday, October 22, 2007. She was born and raised in Walton County, GA. She was a graduate of the University of Georgia.  Mrs. Felker served in the U. S. Army as a dietician during World War II. She retired from the C. D. C. after many years of service. She was an active member of The Cathedral of St. Philip, working as a volunteer in their Thrift House and was a member of The Order of the Daughters of the King. Mrs. Felker was preceded in death by her husband Frankie Spasato; her parents, Harry Cleveland Broach and Ruth Tuck Broach, brother, Harry Broach, and her sister, Rebecca Bryan. She is survived by her cousins and their families, Emily L. Burrows and Mary Ann L. Mullins.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 25, 2007 in the Mikell Chapel of The Cathedral of St. Philip. Interment will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Evergreen Memorial Park in Athens, GA.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A. M. Thursday at the church.  A. S. Turner & Sons.
