Mary Griggs Golsan

Mary Griggs Golsan, 89, of Stone Mountain, beloved mother, passed away on Thursday May 10th, 2018. Born in LaGrange, GA on February 12, 1929, she was the daughter of the late James and Evelyn Griggs. She loved gardening, playing bridge, traveling and always looked forward to attending sunday school and church.

Mary attended Auburn University and worked for the American Cancer Society for over 20 years. She was a long term member of Tucker First United Methodist Church.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Ellen Golsan, sons, Mark and Steven Golsan, sister, Marjorie Roberts and many more loving family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband Louis Golsan, sister, Connie Sprunk and brother, Brooks Griggs.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home and a graveside service following at 11:00 a.m., Monday May 14, 2018 at Decatur Cemetery. A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, Decatur.
