Mary “Mickey” Daniel Brannon Martin, age 77, of Tucker, GA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 24, 2010, surrounded by her family and closest friends. She was born and raised in the Little Five Points area of Atlanta and was a long time member of Candler Park Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Harvey and Mildred Daniel and beloved husband Winston Martin. She is survived by her five children, Bonnie (David) Rogers, Kathy (David) Deaux, Marie (Ben) Davis, Mary Lou Brannon (Bill Crowder), and Matthew (Tammy) Brannon, eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous very dear friends. Mary was a wonderful, loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She had a special way of touching everyone’s life she came in contact with. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. (viewing at 10:00 a.m.) at The Church at Decatur Heights with Dr. Alan Smith officiating. Interment at Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Church at Decatur Heights in Mary’s memory. The family will receive guests Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
