Mary Veal Bobo

Mrs. Mary Veal Bobo of Decatur died Wednesday, July 21, 2003. Born April 18, 1918, she was a lifelong resident of Decatur and graduated from Decatur High School. She was a member of Briarcliff Baptist Church and a former member of Oakhurst Baptist Church. Mrs. Bobo was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Veal, and her second husband, Walton Bobo; sister, Hassie Parker Conklin; and brother, John Wilson Jones. She is survived by her sisters, Mrs. Ruth Gresham and Mrs. Martha Allen, both of Atlanta; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 11 a.m., Friday, Rev. Bill Bigger officiating. Interment Decatur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons
