Mary Virgina Tunison

Mrs. Virginia W. Tunison, 98, of Stone Mountain passed away on Saturday August 24, 2013. A native of Charleston, SC she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Conner Tunison, Jr. and her daughter, Virginia Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Charlene and Charles Rape; son, Brent Tunison; grandchildren, Amy Morris, Michael Parker, David Morris; great-grandchildren, Christina Osborn, Jennifer Beltran, Maggie Parker, Thomas Parker, David Morris, II. Also surviving are six great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Tunison will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons 2:00 pm Wednesday August 28 with Rev. Joy Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Garden of Memories. The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
