Melissa Penland Burg

Melissa Penland Burg was born in Miami Springs, Florida on March 15th, 1956. After attending high school, she earned her associates degree of Nursing at Miami-Dade Community College while working three jobs. Melissa worked over 30 years as a nurse mostly at Veterans Hospitals because she loved serving those who served their country. She was a loving mother and wife and continued to prove this all throughout her life. She was the ultimate caretaker of her mother, family, and veterans. She is now continuing life in heaven with her father, mother, sister, Lord and Savior. She will be remembered for her unconditional love, her sense of humor about everything, and her quirky habits that we admire. She is survived by her daughters Alexandra and Mikayla Burg. Melissa Penland Burg was and forever will be a beautiful person.
