Michael Gordon Crawford

Michael Gordon Crawford, 65, of Stone Mountain, beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018. Born in Georgetown, Guyana April 4, 1953, he was the son of Sybil Winifred Biscombe Crawford and the late Eric Alwyn Crawford. Mikey enjoyed cooking, crafting, building things, mechanical work, and spending time with his family and friends. He was well known for his "cook-up" rice and his energetic personality.

In addition to his mother, Sybil, Mikey is survived by his three sons, Seon Crawford, Jevon Crawford, and Shavin Crawford; grandchildren, Frida and Nile Crawford; five sisters, Joan Braithwaite, Esme Hamer, Jennifer Hartley, Pauline Crawford, and Michelle Morgan; two brothers, Steven Crawford and Derek Crawford; and many more loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home with a celebration of Mikey's life at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home. The family invites all to join them for a reception following the services.
