Mildred Garrett Pendergrass

Mildred Garrett Pendergrass, 97, of Atlanta, passed away on Thursday January 5, 2012. She was born in Atlanta on December 13, 1914. She's predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Webb H. Pendergrass. There are no immediate survivors. Mildred retired after 36 years of service from First Federal Savings as vice president, and was a faithful member of Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday January 7, 2012 in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons at 1:00 PM with Dr. David Sapp officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday. A.S. Turner and Sons, Decatur is in charge of the arrangements
