Mildred Grace Malone

February 22, 1916 — August 18, 2012

Mildred Grace Drennon Malone was born February 22, 1916, to Pearl and Winfield Drennon of Dalton, Georgia, and was the last surviving child of eight children. Mildred was married 25 years to Harold Malone, deceased. Mildred was an avid bridge player and an active church member at Lithonia First Baptist and Johns Creek Baptist. Her long life ended at home in Duluth, Georgia, on August 18, 2012. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Randy Boyd; granddaughter, Wendy Hardt and her husband, James; and great grandson, Tyler Hardt; many nieces, nephews and cousins, Malone and Drennon. The funeral service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 22, in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Interment will be the following day at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sugar Valley Cemetery, Sugar Valley, Georgia. The family will receive friends 5-7 Tuesday evening at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory in Decatur.
