Mr. Ashley Thrasher, 87, of Decatur passed away October 7, 2012. He was born in Athens, GA and the son of Herbert and Clara V. Thrasher. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Lee Thrasher and sons, Wesley Carroll Thrasher and Dexter Alan Thrasher. A graveside service will be held Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Farmington, Oconee Co., GA. with Rev. Billy Nunnally officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at A. S.Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
