Mr. Mose M. (Mancy) Hicks

Mr. Mose M. (Mancy) Hicks, age 94, of Scottdale died Tuesday, November 30, 2004. He was a member and deacon of Corinth Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of U-Haul, Inc. Mr. Hicks is survived by his wife, Angie Marie (Holley) Hicks; daughters, Helen Kelly of Lilburn, Reba & Gary Carnes of Tucker, Betty Jean & Dan Britt of Lilburn; sons, James & Virginia Hicks of Stone Mountain, Billy & Ann Hicks of Loganville, Dennis & Debbie Hicks of Lawrenceville; sister, Dorothy Chandler of Tallapoosa, GA; fifteen grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 3, at 1:00 pm at Corinth Baptist Church. Rev. Dewey Childers, Rev. Robert Moon, and Rev. Mike Honea will officiate. Interment will be at Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, and from 6 to 8 pm Thursday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
