Myrtle Mcgahee Wells

Mrs. Myrtle M. Wells, of Atlanta, GA, passed away at Budd Terrace Hospice on Thursday morning, December 24, 2009. Myrtle was born on July 20, 1925 in Warren Co., GA. She is preceded in death by her late husband Clarence N. Wells of 10 years. She retired from the railway, formerly known as Southern Railway, where she worked in the data entry department. Mrs. Wells was a member of Briarlake Baptist Church for many years and was a devoted member of her wonderful Business and Professional Women's Bible class. She enjoyed her home and spending many quiet relaxing times reading books. Mrs. Wells is survived by numerous family members who include nephews, Lee Bush of Decatur, GA., Kenneth Skinner of Rex, GA., Marshall Skinner of McDonough, GA., Tim Skinner of Rex, GA., Robert Wells of Auburn, GA.; nieces, Gayle B. Holcomb of Winston, GA., Deborah Wells of Houston, TX.; great nephew, Bobby Whitaker of Ocala, Fl.; great niece, Barbara W. Tarrer of Conyers, GA., and brother-in-law, Aubrey Wells of Lawrenceville, GA. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Tuesday, December 29th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Larry Sullivan officiating. Graveside services will be at Westview Cemetery. The wake will be on Monday, December 28th from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P. M. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
