Nannelle Bond, 81, of Decatur, passed away on Thursday January 17, 2013 at Halcyon Hospice in Atlanta. She was born on October 25, 1931 to the late William Hayden Bond and Rushia Vastie Turner Bond. She retired from DeKalb County after 40 years of service. Nannelle was a member of Decatur First United Methodist Church where she was active in the church activities. A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday January 20th in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons with Dr. David Naglee officiating. Interment will follow at Decatur City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice. The family will receive friends tonight from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
