Ora Lee Lansdell

Ora Lee Lansdell, 86, a resident of Kings Bridge Retirement Center of Decatur, GA departed this life on December 6, 2004 to join her Lord. She was born in Atlanta, GA to the late John Flynn Nance, Sr. and Love Stamps Nance. The youngest of five children, she was preceded in death by siblings, Annette Nance Kinnett of Atlanta, GA, Robert Flynn Nance of Jacksonville, FL, John Flynn Nance, Jr. of Atlanta, and Evelyn Nance Hargrave of Houston, TX; and granddaughter, Julie Annette Adams. She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, William Egbert Lansdell; daughter, Barbara Lansdell Adams and son-in-law Bert Ransom Adarns; son, Glenn Alan Lansdell and daughter-in- law Pamela Smith Lansdell; grandsons, Mark Berton Adarns, Thomas William Lansdell and John Alan Lansdell; and sisters-in-law, Harriett Nance and Jeanette Nance. As an avid horticulturist, Ora Lee was an award-winning member of the Leafmore Hills Garden Club and other associations of the Georgia Federation of Garden Clubs. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Floral Hills Memory Gardens with Reverend Liz Pearson officiating.
