Ora Mae Yancey

Ora Mae Dockery Yancey, 98, died December 9, 2015 at her home in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. She was a native of Cherokee county, North Carolina, and resided for the last 18 years in Peachtree Corners with her daughter, Patricia Yancey Bennett. She was the second daughter of the late Wylie and Mattie Hembree Dockery. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ellis Yancey, and her son, John Ellis Yancey, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Bennett and grandchildren, Tom (Marla), Mike, Karen, Jennifer Jacobs (Brett), and Kevin (Paige) ; four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Yancey Bennett, Hannah and Alex Jacobs; sister, Gladys Davis and brothers, Allen and Ray Dockery.
