Percy Lee Underwood

Percy Lee Underwood, 92, a longtime resident of Decatur passed away Tuesday August 5, 2014. Mr Underwood was an avid sportsman and a dedicated family man. He was also an Army veteran of World War II, and was preceded in death by his wife, Dovie Chewning Underwood. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Peugh; brother, Kirby Underwood; grandson, Dwight and Lorene Peugh; great-grandchildren, Christine Kirk, Brandy Peugh, Jaclene Peugh and great-great granddaughter, Kaylee Brackin. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons on Friday August 8th at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends on Wednesday August 6 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Thursday August 7 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
