Prentis Baker Huff

Dr. Prentis Baker Huff died Sunday, July 1, 2012. He was a graduate of Columbia Military Academy and graduated from Emory University. He received his MD degree in 1955. He served 2 years at Grady Memorial Hospital. Dr. Huff practiced orthopedic medicine from 1961 to 1989 at DeKalb Medical Center. He was a member of Clairmont Presbyterian Church, Druid Hills Golf Club, the American Medical Association, and the American Chestnut Foundation. He served as a Lieutenant in the US Navy. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy W. Huff; daughters and sons-in-law, Daryl and Rees Waite and Kristin and Bill Martin; sister, Venita Martin of Chattanooga; and grandchildren, Samantha, Baker, Gary, Rosa and Matthew. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Arlington Memorial Park with Dr. Mathew Mitchell officiating.
