Mr. Rabun H. Lunsford, age 80 of Decatur, passed away Friday, November 6, 2009. He retired from Georgia Power after many years of service and was a Navy veteran, having served during the Korean War. Mr. Lunsford was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Julia Lunsford and brothers, Edison, George and Ted Lunsford. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia Lunsford; son, Alan Lunsford; daughter, Lynn Bullard and husband, Don; grandchildren, Christopher Bullard and Allison Bullard; great grandsons, Aidan and Micah Bullard; brothers, Alexander and Wayne Lunsford; sisters, Joyce Blackwood and husband, Wayne and Carolyn Busbia; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 9, 2009 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons. Private interment at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8 PM at A.S. Turner and Sons.
