Rachel Olive Gordon

Certified descendant of an original Oregon pioneer, Rachel Olive Riches was born January 19, 1921 in Turner, Oregon to Ruby Violet Hazlett and Stanley Ashmead Riches. She was married to Robert L. Gordon and made her home in Richmond, Virginia until after his death in 1982 when she moved to Atlanta. She is survived by her son, Robert L. Gordon, Jr. (wife Karen), who live in Green Bay, WI, and her daughter M'Ellen Gordon (husband Joe Turner) of Atlanta, GA. She also has a nephew, Stanley Riches (wife Sharon) of California. Rachel was a vital part of her family. She was a one-of-a-kind person and will be greatly missed by family, friends and neighbors. She will be buried next to her husband at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Richmond. In lieu of flowers, please remember her with love and kindness.
