Ralph Milton Gibson

Ralph Milton Gibson, 80, of Clarkston, a dedicated and faithful husband and father passed away January 8, 2017. Born in Atlanta on August 12, 1936, he was the son of the late Raymond and Lena Ammons Gibson. Ralph served his country for 4 years in the U.S. Navy and served the public over 25 years fighting fires in Dekalb as a Fireman. He was a member of the Clarkston Masonic Lodge over 30 yrs. He was a lifetime member and supporter of the Clarkston Methodist Church, and a "jack" of all trades. Dad knew a little bit about fixing anything. He was a good, honest, hardworking man, sometimes working 3 different jobs to ensure his children were involved in every possible opportunity. Ralph is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia Yvonne Patterson Gibson; daughters; Kathy Cato and Kim Davidson Son: Rodney "Bubba" Gibson, Grand Children: Chris Carr & Kasey Carr. Son's & Daughter in laws: Karrie Gibson, Susan Willis & Rick Davidson, and his brothers: Jack, Reigh & George Gibson. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 12, at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home.
