Ralph Stuart Jones

Mr. Ralph Stuart Jones of Atlanta died Sunday, August 24, 2008. He was born in Entiat, Washington and was a veteran of World War II. He was a pioneer of the Alaska fishing industry but his lifelong passion was flying. He was the beloved husband of Martha, his wife of 7 years; the loving and devoted father of Susan Jones Black, and Kenneth Jones (deceased); grandfather of 8; great-grandfather of 13; and great-great-grandfather of 2, all of whom he adored. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Ruth. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 27^th at 2 p.m. at Embry Hills United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made in Ralph’s memory to Embry Hills United Methodist Church, 3304 Henderson Mill Rd., Atlanta, GA 30341 or to the Foundation of Wesley Woods, 1817 Clifton Rd., NE, Atlanta, GA 30329.
