Ramona Alderman Semones

Ramona Alderman Semones, age 71, of Decatur, GA passed away peacefully at home on December 27, 2011. She is predeceased by her parents, David and Ruth Alderman, her husband, Jack and her son, Brent. Ramona is survived by her son and his wife, David and Elizabeth Semones; her daughter and her spouse, Julie Semones and Susan Ray; five grandchildren, Jack, Katherine, Sandy, Laurie and Simon; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Myrna and Gene Carpenter, Joy and John Goss; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ashley and Mary Alderman, Johnny and Mary Alderman. She is further survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and–nephews. Mona was a strong, independent woman who was sustained by her faith, her loyal friends and her loving family. She survived many losses and hardships with a smile and a wry sense of humor. She will be greatly missed. The funeral will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 11am on Saturday, December 31st, 2011 with the Rev. Phillip Thomason officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 30th 2011 from 5-8pm at A.S. Turner & Sons.
