Richard Allen Miller

Mr. Richard A. Miller, 69, of Stone Mountain passed away August 31, 2008 after fighting a courageous battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Roma Miller; son, Eric Miller; brothers, William Miller of Ligonier, PA and Eugene Miller of Indian Head, PA; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Miller and Martha Siok Miller; sister, Delene Miller; and infant daughter, Lori Miller. Richard was well known and respected in the construction and estimating field and had resided in the Atlanta area since 1976. He served honorably in the 101^st Airborne Division from 1957 to 1960. Richard was a devoted husband and father and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4^th, Rev. Randy Shepley officiating. Interment will follow at Dawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
