Robert Marshall Collier, III (Bobby) grew up in Decatur where he attended Mclendon Elementary and Shamrock High School. After graduation he joined the U.S. Navy. Bobby was the first child born to Ann Phelps and Robert Marshall (Bob) Collier, Jr. He is survived by his parents, and his sister, Jeanne Elizabeth (Beth) Collier, of Stone Mountain, GA. Nephews, William Andrew (Andy) Collier, Jr., Powder Springs, GA. and his children Garnet and Cole, Beaufort, S.C., and Daniel Franklin (Danny) Collier and his wife, Shey of Canton, Georgia. Aunts, Mary Sam Collier Knight of Collierville, TN, Jane Phelps Catt, Canton, GA ., Ellen Phelps King, Tucker, GA, and Vivian Phelps Gailey and her husband, Dick Gailey, Pittsburgh, Pa. and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Andrew (Billy) Collier, Sr. and his grandparents Kathryn and Robert Collier and Jean and Jack Phelps, Decatur, GA
