Robert Edward Sisson

Robert (Bob) Sisson, age 84, of Tucker passed away peacefully at his home on February 9, 2014. He was a kind, loving man and was devoted to his family and friends. He spent many years with the Tucker youth football program, mentoring and coaching the youth at Fitzgerald Field. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 60 plus years, Betty Sisson; daughter, Leigh Ann Weeks of Lawrenceville, GA; son, Robert (Bobby) E. Sisson, Jr., and daughter-in-law, Jody Sisson of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Jason Dewald, Kari Anne Sisson, Griffin Weeks and Evan Weeks. Also surviving are many beloved nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home, 2773 N. Decatur Road, Decatur, GA. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 pm Saturday, March 1, 2014. The body was cremated. A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
