Ron Telligman

February 28, 1954 — April 14, 2007

Mr. Ron Telligman of Snellville, loving husband, son, father, brother, and friend, passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer on April 14, 2007. Ron, an Army man, fulfilled his dream to become a nurse. He was loved by all who came in contact with him and made everyone laugh. He was a loyal employee of DeKalb Medical Center and always made the toughest situation "a piece of cake." Even in his toughest fight with his illness when things were bleak and he was in a great deal of pain, his answer to "How are you?" was always "a piece of cake." If he was asked to describe his life his answer would be "What a Ride." Ron's personality always made you smile even in the toughest situation. His love, warmth, jokes and special friendship will be missed-but not forgotten. The special memories he has given to each life he touched will always be in our hearts. He may be gone from this life, but his spirit will live on in each of us. Preceding him in death is his loving mom, Marion Telligman. Ron leaves behind his loving and supportive wife, Terri Telligman; sons, Ronald "Bear" Telligman and Tony Telligman; dad and step-mom, Kenneth and Meg Telligman; twin brother, Rob and older brother, Joe Telligman; sisters, Karen Davidson and Charon Mathews; more family and friends than you can dream of; and special 4-legged companions, Sweetie, Joy, Hope, and Ears. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 17 th, in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Elder Thomas will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society or Embracing Hospice, 2160 Fountain Dr., Snellville, GA 30078. Following the service, friends and family are invited to gather at the home of Pat Blair and Lynn Medlin for a reception. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday evening at A. S. Turner & Sons.
