Ronald Stevens Benedict

Ronald (Ron) Stevens Benedict, 64, of Tulsa, OK, formerly of Clarkston, GA, died Sunday, January 2, 2005. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who left this earth to soon, he will be sorely missed.  He is survived by his wife, Carol Jean Benedict; daughters, Angelia Harper and husband David of Juarez, Mexico, Joyce Benedict of Atlanta, Donna Dublin and husband Mike of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Adam, Kaitlyn and Chase of Fayetteville; sisters, Margaret Forrester of Peachtree City, Joyce King of Dunwoody; brothers, James Benedict of Madison, TN, Waymon Benedict of Covington, Richard Benedict of Florida, and Larry Benedict of Crossville, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Zion Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 8th, Rev. Alton Hardy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. After the services, the family will receive friends and family at the home of Joyce Benedict. The family will also receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
