Rosa Moreno

Mrs. Rosa Moreno, 53, long time resident of Atlanta

died Saturday January 19, 2008. She was a faculty

member at the Atlanta International School for 12

years. Rosa was a devoted teacher, a great friend to

many, a proud mother, and a fantastic wife. She is

survived by her children: Nadia, Lucas, Julio, and

Yaritza. She is also survived by her grand child David

O. Moreno Morris and by the love of learning instilled

in every one of her students. The family received

friends from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday, January

23rd at A.S. Turner & Sons. At her request, Mrs.

Moreno's ashes will be dispersed in the ocean in

Colombia, her country of origin.
