Rosanne Taylor O'Kelley

October 6, 1920 — April 29, 2011

Rosanne Taylor 0' Kelley, lifelong resident of Decatur and Atlanta and graduate of Girls High in Atlanta died Friday, April 29, 2011. Rosanne was born October 6, 1920, the youngest daughter of Mary Dewson Taylor and Frank Elmore Taylor, Sr. She was predeceased by all five of her siblings. Rosanne had a love and a talent for music, and over her lifetime was an active participant in the choirs of three area churches where she held successive memberships at Druid Hills Presbyterian, Peachtree Presbyterian and Westminster Presbyterian. She was for many years a member of the Atlanta Choral Guild. Known for her self-sacrificing personality, she dedicated much of her life toward helping others. Retired from her business career with General Electric Company, Rosanne had lived for nearly twenty years at Clairmont Place, a seniors condominium community in Decatur. She had more recently moved to Montclair, the associated assisted living facility at Clairmont. She is survived by nephews Alan Taylor, Nelson Taylor, David Turner, John (Pat) Turner and Frank Taylor, sister-in-law Mary Jackson, a number of great and great, great nieces and nephews and family friend and care giver Johnnie Williams. All friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4, in section 25 of Westview Cemetery. Meet at front gate. Arrangements by A.S. Turner & Sons.
