Ruth Breed

Ruth Joyner Breed, age 87, died peacefully on March 11, 2013 at her home in Cobblestone - Park Springs located in Stone Mountain Georgia. She was a proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Ruth was born and raised in East Point Atlanta and was the youngest of a family of nine. She was a southern belle with a keen sense of humor and one of the kindest and sweetest people to those who knew her. She was a widow for only 8 months, previously married for 67 years to Lt. Col. Charles R. Breed, Sr. Ruth married at an early age and supported her husband as a military wife while raising four children. She is survived by her daughters Sheryl Allen and Barbara Breed and sons Charles R. Breed Jr. and Michael Breed. Services for both Ruth and Charles will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, March 18th, at the Georgia National Cemetery located at 9310 Knox Bridge Hwy, Canton, Georgia. A.S.
