Ruth Eugenia Howard

Ruth Eugenia Howard, age 93, of Roswell, GA. passed away August 29, 2009.  She was born August 23, 1916 in Atlanta, GA.  She was the daughter of the late James B. Howard Sr. and Ina Weeks Howard and sister of the late Olin Howard and James Howard, Jr.  Ruth was a graduate of Decatur Girls High School and attended Crichton’s Business College in Atlanta.  She was retired from Southern Railway.  Survivors include a sister, Dorothy Hinton of Alpharetta, GA.; nephews John Hinton, David Hinton, and Robert Howard; nieces Sandra Flewellyn, Cynthia Strickland, Nancy Smith; many great and great-great nephews and nieces. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM Thursday, September 3, 2009  at A.S. Turner & Sons in Decatur. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Tucker, GA.
