Ruth H. Hall

Ruth H. Hall, age 97, of Decatur, Georgia passed away peacefully on May 17. She was born on January 25, 1915 in Shelby county Tennessee to Linson Lafayette and Katherine Laura (Webb) Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years Thomas W. Hall. Mrs. Hall was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was strong in her Christian faith and was a member of Disciples of Christ Church in Atlanta. She enjoyed reading, writing poetry and poems. Her other interests include working in the yard with her flower gardens, working puzzles and crossword puzzles. Mrs. Hall had an exceptional interest in many areas, including fashion, architecture and cars. Mrs. Hall is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Sidney Elliott, Sandy Springs, Ga; son, Thomas Chris Hall, Houston, Tx. She is also survived by her grandchildren Adam Elliott and wife Tracy of Roswell, Ga., Laura Baumeister and husband John of Raleigh, NC and Kelsie and Brandon Hall of Houston, TX.; four great grandchildren, Claire, Annabelle, and Griffin Elliott and Everett Baumeister. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 25, 10:00 am at Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Sandy Springs Christian Church. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7pm on Thursday at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
