Sandra Speigner

Sandra Faye Sutton Speigner was born May 20, 1941 to Netty Perdue and Henry B Sutton in Eastman, Georgia.  She grew up in Decatur, Georgia and lived in Avondale Estates.  She graduated from Decatur High School in 1959 and later received an Associate’s degree.  She has worked in the Education field for over 35 years.  She volunteered at her beloved church, a hospice organization, and various social groups.  She really enjoyed traveling.  Her favorite places to visit were Egypt and Costa Rica.  She also enjoyed music, dancing, camping at state parks, and loved dogs- but above all- loved her friends and church: Avondale First Baptist Church.  She is survived by her daughter- Anna Speigner, daughter-in-law- Elyssa Weiss, cousin-Vivian White, and many friends that she considered family.  Please join us for a graveside service on Wednesday, January 11th at 2 PM at Decatur Cemetery.
