Sara Cheek Jolley, 89, of Conyers, died Saturday, August 22, 2009. She was the daughter of the late James Lee and Ina Akin Cheek. Mrs. Jolley was a life long member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Decatur. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Max Jolley, sister, Ruby Kirkland and brother Homer Lee Cheek. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Paul Ellis of Conyers; grandchildren, Dawn Pettit and her husband Joseph of Grayson, Jason and his wife Becky of Cumming; great grandchildren, Ilyssa Johnson, Drayton and Kaiden Ellis. Funeral services for Mrs. Jolley will be held Monday, August 24, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Gill Watson officiating. Interment, Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to your favorite charity. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at A. S. Turner & Sons
